This aged varietal comes to us from the higher elevations in California. Grown on small acreage vineyards, these grapes are hand picked and then brought to Trout Springs Winery to be processed. We barrel age ferment the wine for 8 months in American oak barrels to allow the spicy yet fruity flavors to combine, while also adding just the right amount of smoke from the toasted barrels.
